Today's Test Results

Once I hit all the adjustments for chemistry levels, I will be a "pro", but this is still my third day, so bear with me.

pH.....7.7
TA.....130
CYA.....30

I realize my TA is creeping up and my pH is higher today. I added my initial CYA liquid stabilizer yesterday and bleach.

What would be my next step?

I see on BBB muriatic acid will lower pH and TA levels. Is this a liquid? Found in hardware store?
Based on the pool calculator is says I should add 17oz of MA. Would it be best to add 1/2 of this first and retest?

Yes, Muratic acid can be found in hardware stores.

Sounds like a safe route to me....

I agree w/FPM re: muriatic acid. Since you have a SWG, I'd buy a couple gallons at the time
