Superchlorination

If I leave my unit in superchlorinate mode when I go on vacation, will it give me a little extra coverage each day when it first turns on?

Or maybe I should just put a couple of gallons of bleach in as extra before I go?

Or maybe just not worry about it so much.....HA!

Im no expert, but if your SWCG is keeping good FC now, it should continue to do so while your on vacation with no super chlorinate nor bleach.

Do you get a lot of debris that you manually remove all the time or something?

yes, quite a bit of debris...at least every other day....I may be a little paranoid?

Prob a little paranoid;-)

I wouldnt put it to superchlorinate, because the FC will likely be way too high when you get back. That said, it's certainly ok to bump it up a little for the added insurance.
