I set up intex 18 x 9 approx 4500 gallons. Added salt(120 LBS) and CYA( 1/2 GALLON LIQUID). Tested CYA about a week into setup. It was a little low. Added about 8 oz more CYA. Now I read it yesterday, Its not reading at all? I'm using the TF-100. Could heat of the day affect the reading its like 114 degrees out side pool water is like 102.

You're saying that the view tube remains completely clear even when full to the top?
I'm not being facetious, just want to make sure. You are mixing half pool water and half R-0013 aren't you?
I've heard of cold affecting the reading, but never heat.

What is the % cyanuric acid listed in the ingredients on the label?
I'm just curious because we know that there is some 50% strength out there in the granular. Maybe they have the 50% strength in the liquid, too?
