Suggested replacement pump/filter for 18' Intex Ultra Frame?

Looking for a good but not to exspensive replacement pump for our new ultra frame. Need something that does a faster and better job of cycling that water.

    Thanks in advance!

I have been very happy with the Intex 1600 sand filter. It seems to be a perfect fit for my 16 x 48 Intex pool. You might also consider the next step up from Intex. I believe they call that the 2650. The 1600 was around 140.00 out the door

Ideally we would recommend a sand filter at least 15". But, you have a short season so the 14" with the 1600 pumps should work just fine ... although the reports are that the 2650 pump (with 16" filter) does a much better job than some of the very undersized pumps with the cartridges. Likely either will work fine for you.
