Excess plaster on pebblesheen?

Our pool was complete last week, and we chose Ocen Blue pebble sheen. We have been faithfully brushing every day and there still seems to be a lot of excess plaster on the bottom of the pool, causing it too look like a more milky/aqua blue, even greenish. The sides and baja step are fine, oddly. Our PB said that we needed to just keep brushing, but it seems no amount of brushing is going to get rid of this. Has anyone else experienced this?

It can go either way. Brushing does indeed improve the situation, but if there is too much extra plaster no amount of brushing will ever get get rid of it all.

Typically situations like this one are dealt with with a manual acid wash to remove the excess plaster. Chances are they want to wait and see if it gets better with just brushing (quite possible) before doing a manual acid wash (which means draining the pool).

Thanks. And yikes. That is what we were worried might need to happen... right in the middle of our hottest weather is not an ideal time to have to drain and refill a pool. :(
