27 foot round liner question

I bought a used pool on CL and I am having trouble determining the correct liner size. The best I can tell the pool is about 8 years old. The manufacturer is Jacuzzi. There is a sticker on the inside of the pool that says 27 x 52. Here is the part that is confusing me. The diameter measurement i get is 26feet 9 inches. Do the pool sizes run a few inches short?
I have found both liner sizes available. 26.9 and 27ft.

I would trust the sticker.
Is it an overlap or beaded liner?

It's an overlap.

It's my understanding overlap liners are more forgiving as to size. If I understand it correctly, you are basically buying a large circle of PVC and stretching it into your pool's walls. Overlaps can have several extra feet of material.
