ball park figure on cost of resurface?

Since we purchased the house and originally cleaned the pool, there have been about 3 small spots where you can see cement in the deep end of the water. I was wondering what the cost of resurfacing a 10,000 gallon gunite pool might be about. thanks

A LOT of the cost depends on where you live, what might cost $2k in Texas or Florida due to the volume could cost $5-10K in NY or somewhere where there's only one or two companies...supply/demand....

Either way, due to our personal negative experience and being new to this, even if it's a inexpensive job, talk to their customers, see the pools they've done, and do this for each pool company you talk to! After 1.5 years we're finally able to enjoy our re-model...

It's cheaper than your first trip to the pool store!

i appreciate your advise, I live in Alabama, but based on the estimates to change the sand in our filter (ranging $175 - $350) we did it ourselves for about $50 I assumed it would be around $5k
