    Opening a new SWG pool

Our pool is supposed to be done and filled this weekend, but because it's a Wetedge application the SWG can't be started up for 28 days or so. The PB is supposed to start it up for us and then do the SWG start up later on. But I'd like to know as much as possible before then. Are there any special factors to consider when shifting over to a SWG? What about the chemistry after the SWG starts up?

You should so some reading in the Stickies area of this site, see the link in my signature or the sub-heading of any page. Particularly look at "Water Balance tips for a SWG".

You want the water at least mostly balanced before you turn on the SWG.
