My pool is clear and for the first time since we bought our house three weeks ago I can actually see the bottom in the 9 ft.+ deep end. I just did all the tests again to see where everything is at and this is what I got:

CYA 30
pH 7.2
FC 2
TA 110
CH 120

Now my question is when I went in yesterday I definitely felt burning around my eyes when I went under water. Is this because the pH is on the low end?

What test kits are you using? What is your CC?
You FC is on the verge of being too low.

If you have CC, the irritation could be due to that ... or the lower pH, but that would be surprising.

I have a Taylor 2006 test kit. I didn't have any CC when I did the test.

Well, nothing seem obviously off. Just get your FC up a little higher and maybe when the pH comes up a bit the irritation will go away? Although this post seems to suggest the pH should not be a problem:
