When to start OCLT

How late should it be to start the OCLT? Just sun off the pool? Dusk? Night? And should I retest before sun-up?

I start mine at dark. I used to feed the pool around 10pm when I got off work and I'd get up at 5am before the sun peaked up to say GOOD MORNING!

When CC is .5 or less and the water looks fairly clear....and the sun no longer hits the pool
