just thought i would start by saying hello to everyone here as i am new to this forum....a little background about me, i am a canuck from ontario, 31 yrs young, and fairly new to pools...I am on my 3rd above ground intex pool....first was a 10 ft inflateable ring which had for 2 yrs and then upgraded to a 12 ft inflateable ring for 3 yrs and now this is my second yr with the metal frame 15' x 48" and has not been setup yet due to the late summer....in the past i knew enough to get me by but this yr i wanted to learn even more so i am reading "pool school" and am learning allot...soooo hello to all!! and i am sure i will be posting a few questions after i finish reading....in the past i would rely on chlorine pucks and running the filter pump for about 18 hrs a day....worked great but this yr i am looking to learn the ins and outs of the water chem.....and possibly doing a swg setup but dont really know if it is worth it yet....after reading pool school seems like it might not be.....
