Quick and easy salt question

Good afternoon!

I am going to try adding a batch of salt on my non-SWCG bleach managed BBB pool to see how the "feel" is. Shooting for 2000-2500ppm.

How long does it take for the salt ppm to lower/disappear? I figured it breaks down over time correct?

The salt is like CYA ... it is only lost when you physically remove water from the pool (splash out, backwash, etc).

Excellent. Thank you for the reply. I will give it a shot after our big 4th party. I don't why I had it in my head it broke down over time.

Great site, great info, glad I found it and joined/supported. BBB is a piece of cake, pool store is a joke.
