    paper filter/sand filter with saltwater

I have an intex saltwater filtration system. I am using the paper filter setup that came with my 22' intex pool. Can I switch to a sand filter?

Thanks, i'm sure I will be happy with it. I used the original paper filter all last summer and didn't like it. I am in the process of trying to figure out which one(size) I need for my pool.
