    Used Hayward Sand Filter

    Greetings!
I am running out to Look at a used Hayward Sand Filter and Pump (1HP). I am hoping to find a few key things to check for to make sure it is still operational. It was used to filter a 24' AGP and I have a 22' and looking to upgrade from the Intex Filter pump I have. I have no model number or specifics yet, but my main concern is that it may be too much pump for me. It is similar to this one...

It's a bit big but probably still okay for a 22' pool. I'd get it if it was a good price.

It's awesome, I got it for $100... I took it all apart and cleaned it up, added new sand and it's running nicely. The sound will take some getting used to and the motor seems warm to me. Is there a way to bleed the air from the system?
