Ok so here's what's been going on. Last week noticed the water turning green. Uh oh. Starting shocking and have kept it at shock levels for 4 days, running the pump 24/7. The water is still green
Levels are
FC 18
CC .5
pH 7.2
CH 120
CYA 40

Tested last night at 18 FC and this morning was still 18.

What else can I do? Please help!! :-D

Has the color changed since you started shocking?

Is the water clear transparent green, or cloudy murky green?

Have you done an overnight FC loss test?

The color seems to be getting to a lighter green.
I think the color would be transparent green. I can see the bottom of the pool and it has debris on it, I have vacuumed twice and I brush the sides and floor everyday but by morning its all there again.
I checked the chlorine levels last night and it was 18 and it had stayed at 18 when I checked this morning. Is that the FC loss test?
