Can I use a Polaris 280 for above ground pool?

Can I use a polaris 280 for 28 ft round above ground pool? Thanks for a replly ASAP . I have never used a forum. I can't find an above ground pool vac I am satisfied with.

The problem is that it requires a booster pump to operate. That would involve installing a fitting into the sidewall of your pool and purchase of a booster pump in addition to the polaris. It does say they are rated for all inground pool types so I would assume that include vinyl liner pools. Have you tried any of the self powered pool robots?

After 2 days of testing and some adjustments, I have a sparkly clean pool with a Polaris 65.

I also have a P65...does well 80% of the time...the other 20% is spent going in circles when it coils up unto it's self.

What kind of adjustment did you make?

Were they related to coiling?
