Does everybody's insurance policy say they have to have a fence around their AGP ?

Code in my township is as long as the wall is 48" they don't require a fence.

I'm bring told you should ask for a letter sighting the policy exclusion. Also bing told that if it is a city or county ordinance then they will require it.

It's only a township policy if the wall is less than 48". My wall is 54".

Then it's not required. Tell them to send you the letter. If they make a big deal call Allstate or State Farm ( I'm being told it not in their policy's).

Ok. Thanks a bunch. I hate those fences on a AGP if you know what I mean. A deck is in the planning stages for later this summer.

No, ask the insurance company to give you a letter sighting the policy exclusion. If they can't sight it, it ain't there. I had the guru search the township and it says 48" with no fence.

All I can say is that we are with Erie. We recently had a tree fall on our pool and had a total loss. They were very impressed with the fact that our pool was fenced and I really feel like it helped our claim. We are now able to replace our pool with the check from our claim. The new pool will be fenced! :-D
I see. Ok will do. So if they can come up with a letter sighting its in their policy that's the way it is with them then.
