At the end of last year both my spa and pool light stopped working. Seems sort of strange that I would lose both at the same exact time. I'm getting the pool ready and decided to check my GFI that the pool light run through and the green light is lit but when I test it with a basic tester its not showing any power. So I purchased a new GFI and the same results. I tested the bottom two wires and it shows power however I test the top and nothing. Any ideas of what's the problem?
 
In an attempt to see if it's the lights or power I took and hooked up the pool light to an extension cord that I know had power and the light didn't come on. So I would assume that it's the light that is bad or would the way I hook it up not work?
