    Help with salt pool

Hello! We recently converted our above ground Easy Set pool to the Intex Saltwater system. I am having trouble getting it balanced. Here are the levels as of this morning:

    volume - 5900 gallons
    Salt ppm - 3000
    Hardness -100
    Total Chlorine - 0
    Free Chlorine - 0
    ph - 8
    Alkalinity - 40
    Stabilizer - 0

I am in TN - the temps here average 80-90 daily.

Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

    Welcome to tfp, rivesfamily

Have you read this pool school article?: Likely, you need to get some stabalizer (cya) to keep your chlorine produced by the Intex Saltwater Chlorine Generator (swg) from disappearing to the sun.
TFP Expert who uses Pool School and my TF100 test kit along with PoolMath for my: Round 11K gallon AGP with deep end, 20" sand filter, Matrix 1hp 2spd, 6 2ftX20ft solar panels (and solar cover!), Intex SWCG (copper bars disconnected) and a Rubadub hot tub (chlorine). The SLAM process is not finished until: 1. CC < 0.5 ppm, 2. An OCLT < 1.0 ppm and, 3. The water is crystal clear.
