Which pump for new AGP?

Hi,

I'm in the process of installing a 15x30 AGP and would like your opinion on which pump I should get. The choices (for now) are:

- 3/4 HP 2 speed Pentair Dynamo 120V (8amps high/ 2.6 low)
- 1 HP 2 speed Pentair Superflo 220V (6.0 amps high/2.3 low)

I'm planning on a larger sand filter (Pentair SD80), and to run solar heating at ground level (not sure how many panels yet).

Will the smaller pump have the power to run the filter and solar at low speed? Is the dynamo louder than the superflo?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated, thanks! :)

I would stick with an AG pump. The Dynamo will have plenty of flow rate for the filter on low speed. As for noise, I think they are probably close to equal.
