Do i have to put down sand?

so, i got the ground absolutely level. my dirt is already very sandy (oklahoma red dirt) and it is free from all sticks, rocks, etc.

i cant see what difference 2 inches of sand would really make, other than possibly cause settling issues. so do i really need it or can i just put down the ground cloth, position my stones for the legs and then get this thing put together?

You don't have to put sand under an intex. The most important thing is that the ground is level and stable.

cool. then im gonna run and get my blocks and start getting this thing up.... also... my k-2006 kit just arrived
