    Bleach brand

    I found this brand of bleach at tractor supply, is it worth using? A-1 Bleach 5.25%

    12 containers for $1.32 per 32 ounce container is not a very good deal. That's about .04 per ounce. I can buy 7.25% HEB store brand bleach in a 64 ounce container for $1.64 which is about .025 cents per ounce.

    (15.85/12)/(32*0.0525)= $0.79/oz of NaClO...run away run away...that is a very high price. See: http://www.troublefreepool.com/bleac...13-t58266.html
    TFP Expert who uses Pool School and my TF100 test kit along with PoolMath for my: Round 11K gallon AGP with deep end, 20" sand filter, Matrix 1hp 2spd, 6 2ftX20ft solar panels (and solar cover!), Intex SWCG (copper bars disconnected) and a Rubadub hot tub (chlorine). The SLAM process is not finished until: 1. CC < 0.5 ppm, 2. An OCLT < 1.0 ppm and, 3. The water is crystal clear.

    1.64/(64*0.725)= $0.35/oz NaClO...not a great price zea

    Its still a better deal than the A-1 bleach.
