Low fc - bleach or wait on swg

I'm trying to balance things after torrential rains.
Today's test results:
Salt - 3800ppm
FC - 1
TC - 1
pH - 7.1
TA - 70
CYA - 70

There's no borate in this town so I'm okay with a pH of 7.1 for the kids until the swg brings that up naturally. (Or is it worth a drive out of town to find borate or washing soda?)
I set the swg to super-chlorinate. Are we okay waiting for the FC to come back up via swg or should I grab a couple gallons of bleach?

pH of 7.1 is fine. I'd use bleach to get back to the recommended FC.

with a CYA of 70 and nobody swimming your swg will probably be able to increase the FC slowly, make sure to keep it on.

Why stress the cell? Just add some bleach to get the FC level correct and dial in the SWG to hold it there.

Bleach it now. Don't let the algae get a toehold while you wait for the SWG. It will never be able to catch up if that happens.
