    What chemical am I missing?

I use bromine tabs for sanitizing and muriatic acid for pH. Am I missing an other chemicals for my acrylic spa? I noticed that my tub has stayed pretty cloudy after I had a good group of bathers in it.

I think some sort of oxidizer. See if you can make sense out of this: how-do-i-use-bromine-in-my-spa-or-pool-t102.html

You probably aren't using enough bromine. The tabs are usually not enough if you use the spa frequently. You may need to add sodium bromide to create a bromide bank and to add an oxidizer such as chlorine or non-chlorine shock (MPS) after your soak. This assumes you don't have an ozonator. With an ozonator, you usually don't need to add as much oxidizer after each soak.
