Prepping and painting an older pool

Ok so we recently bought a previously foreclosed home with an in ground pool.
It's a 20'x40' concrete floor with fiberglass walled pool. All in all it appears to be in pretty good shape and had been winterized before being abandoned 2years ago. The question is where should I start? The paint is chipping a little bit and it's my opinion it could use a new coat. We have are hands full with many projects at this house and would like to get the pool up and running to give the kids somewhere to play while we complete other upgrades to the house. Does anyone have suggestions for quickly and inexpensively preparing this pool for use?

I do not have experience with that pool design, but hopefully someone on here who does will respond soon.

It would probably help to post some pictures, assuming something can be seen.
