Do I need check valve or Hartford Loop?

So I have a heat pump and a stenner injector down stream for bleach....HP says if I have a in line feeder (I.E Pucks) I need one to prevent chlorine backflow to HP, but do I have the same issue with the injector system ?

    Thanks in advance !

Is your injection system wired so that it is off when the pump is off? If so there should be no chlorine density spike when the pump is turned off.

It is - and/or should be...meaning I will ONLY INJECT while the PUMP is running...so I assume if all works as is then NO check valve....if my timer jacks up I MIGHT inject while the pump is off.
