maintnence help!

Hi Im a new owner of a intex 14x48 pool, we put some shock in it cause we Arent to sure what else to do but the water is still turning cloudy and the walls are slimey, we have never done this before so we are clueless ! Is it fixable or do we need to drain it ? What Chemicals do we need to buy to get the pool up and running smoothly ?

There are two things you need to do to your water - balance and sanitize it. It took me several readings for it to sink in. Then, start reading through the threads here, chances are, your questions have already been asked.
