Jandy 460 manifold problem

I just changed out my cartridge filters in my Jandy 460 and found a significant crack in the plastic manifold. This will be my third manifold in 4 years

Is there something I can do to keep this from happening?

That seems to be the case with a lot of the Jandy filters. They just came out with a new manifold for that filter. My Dad who lives in the desert cleans his every month and is now on his 3rd top manifold. He bought the new version. If you need the part number I can call and see if he has it.

I just got another one myself....it's Jandy P/N S0106300, REV C
That's what it says on the part itself. If there is another or newer #, I would appreciate your response.
This new one is going in today or tomorrow.

I too am on my third with each one lasting 2 seasons. Its as if the heat of the water 88 degrees softens the plastic and the pressure ( although I clean the filters monthly and have an autocover) is too much for the manifold and it collapses.

They need a REV D with enhanced ribs
