Hey everyone! So my 18' Intex is filling as we speak. Planning to work on the hard plumbing later this evening if the rain holds out or in the morning if not. Anyway, I decided to take a look at things and the 1 1/2" cantex box adapter I got seems to fit rather loosely onto the bottom of the plunger valve compared to the hose that comes with the pool. Is this a problem? If so, how do I remedy it. I don't want to cut the nuts off from my hose until I'm sure I can put it all together.
One more question while I'm at it. How many shut offs should I have and where should the be? Before the filter, after the filter? I know I need one where I'll be attaching my solar heater but aside from that and the 2 plunger valves what else do I need for shut offs.
Also, is there a way to get rid of the plunger valves or should I keep them.
