I am building a 15x30 oval. One side of the pool has trees and very tall shrubs the other side nothing. I have ordered a second through wall skimmer. I was wondering what the best placement for the skimmers and returns would be. Anybody with any experience with this? I will also have 2 bottom drains centered where the flat sides starts. Any input on this would also be appreciated.

With that size pool, probably one skimmer will do and you always want to put the skimmer downwind. Just keep in mind that adding a second skimmer will reduce the skimming capability of both skimmers. There is a little more flexibility with the returns but more or less opposite the skimmers is usually a good idea. If the returns are too close to the returns the flow rate past the skimmers might be too fast.
