    New IC 40

I had to replace my IC 40 and this one has a plastic grate or screen that fits inside the intake or exhaust of the unit. The old one did not have this. I assume it is to protect the flow sensor but for the life of me I can't find anything on this part or which end to install it. Anybody have an idea??

Yes, it is to protect the flow sensor.
