Oclt fc higher in the morning?

I have been shocking pool for week now going good and when i brought pool up to shock per pool calculator and cya chart and i got a fc test result 2 ppms higher than result from last night this has happened two nights in a row....any suggestions?

Testing error is always possible. The other possibility is you are doing the evening test to soon after your last dose. You swhouold give it about 30-60 minutes to circulate, then test.

Do you have any other chlorine sources in the pool?

Unless you add more chlorine, it can ONLY go down.
