is my vacuum adding algae?

After shocking, my water was sparkling and I passed an OCLT test. Then I vacuumed and the water clouded up. I reshocked but am afraid to vacuum now. Do I need to clean the vacuum hose?

FC = 12
CC = 0
pH = 7.2
TA = 130 (I know, I know... testing error then too much baking soda)
Cya = added enough that it should be 40, not reading that yet

The vacuum probably had nothing to do with it. You are likely stirring up fine particles on the pool floor. Brush and vacuum again (and again) and it should go away.

I would agree with Dave. My pool is always cloudy after vacuuming, but once the dust settles it is clear again
