It says in the FAQ that it is more than a traditional pool, but for places where every square foot of real estate matters I can see it being practical, in much the same way that $10,000 flat panel TV's were practical a decade ago in Manhattan apartments because they could hang on the wall and take up less square footage of precious floor space.

Very cool! I saw a similar concept to this in a house in the UK. It was a multi functional dance studio/ballroom that transformed into an indoor pool.
Just when you thought you had seen it all....I would have never thought of this one.
Sadly they are out of business. Was actually going to see how much it was since my back yard is small. Would have been nice to have all that area back for a non-pool party.
