    I want a robotic cleaner

First time on TFP. Great site. Just bought a house with an IG pool. My second pool so one thing I am sure of is I want a robotic cleaner. They all seem to have pros and cons. My question is my pool shape. Being that it is a "lazy" L what is the general thought on getting a remote controlled unit to help steer it around odd corners. I feel most models might have a hard time navigating my pool shape and leave me disappointed that I did not get the remote unit. However I am sure there are alot more crazier designed pools out there that have robotic cleaners that people are happy with. I would rather not get the remote because of breakdown issues and most of all because I want to set it and forget it. But one without remote is a big investment to not reach half your pool.
