Hi,
I've finally ordered a pool (Sharkline Reprieve 15x30) and am now prepping the ground for install. After using a sod cutter to remove grass, I've found the soil underneath is really sandy, almost like being at the beach.
What I'm wondering is if I need a base material (like crushed limestone) to support the pool? The posts and buttresses (maybe rails also) will be supported with concrete pavers. I plan on using a plate compactor on the soil, so the ground should be somewhat firm.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!
