Dolphin not working

O K this is the second year in a row we have had the dolphin in for repair...first time last June, the fuse kept blowing and it needed a new fuse holder and some kind of electrical "bridge" $75.00 repair.
this year right at the start up, it's not working again..fuses keep blowing again so I figure its the same issue. Back to the repair center we go.
Now it's a waterlogged motor...$580.00. Not sure what to do.
Its about 4 years old and that's about half the cost of a new one...

My way of thinking is that if a repair cost half as much as a new one, I replace it. Bummer about it giving that much trouble. Maybe it's time to look at another brand/model?
