I know about the caluclator but I am confused of how to use it! I just want to know how much chlorine to add but i think it wants you to add other factors to it.

So if someone can help me with this it would be good thanks!

I got a saltwater system so it make chlorine but like to know how much to add when starting out.

And like to know how much of liquid chlorine to put in it for the first time to help the salt water system.
Refer to the Chlorine/CYA chart in pool school.

Based on your CYA in your pool, put enough chlorine in the pool to reach the "target" value that's appropriate. That'll allow your SWG to get started and you are wise to give it this "assist" in the beginning.
