    rain effect the ocl test?

If you're doing the over night chlorine loss and it rains a little, less than 1/2 or 1/4 inch will that mess up the results?

Essentially, yes. It is adding something into the mix that was not there before. Rain and storm water runoff has the potential to add organic contaminants to the water and alter the results.

If you pass the OCLT despite rain, does is the result reliable?

Last night was first night for it and low and behold it rained... then showed .1 cc with a loss of 5 fc. I added another gal of bleach this morning and this afternoon no cc at all and fc was at 25 still. Debating on adding another gal, letting it swirl for an hour and testing again just before bed. Still shocking as can see bottom well but not as clear as I think it should be. Did not show any cc's all day yesterday till the rain.
