    Where to install Hayward skimmer

I have a intex 12'x24' rectangle pool. My question is where would the best place be to install the thru wall skimmer? Close to the old return?

Why do you say "old" return? Typically a skimmer would go opposite a return. Does your pool have more than one return? more than one skimmer?

What I meant to say is the old skimmer hole. Had hanging one before.

If I had a vote, I'd say at the downwind side. But I have no clue about intex pools, so wait for more experienced people to reply before you start cutting.

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!
