I'm starting to feel like the biggest idiot for ever buying this pool as I may never get into it! I have a Splash rectangular pool. I got it put up late last fall. I've never had the pump hooked up. I went to hook it up today and my hose is too short by about one foot. The pump cannot be placed in another location so I need a longer hose. My thought was to get the $10 adapter, place my 2 hoses together and make a new hose because I wouldpprefer to have a shorter one than I do for my waterlleaving the pool & into the pump. I read about using hose with a grippy adapter & clamp hose. My husband would like a picture of this but I haven't found one. Our pool flexes considerably with the changes in water height (like over winte) so rigid PVC seems like it would not be best for us.
