    How to clean solar blanket?

He guys! My solar blanket get stuff stuck to it and then when I roll it up the dirt ends up in the pool or stays stuck on the blanket. I was wondering if there was an easy way of keeping the blanket clean? Like a clever trick someone could share? Last week I cleaned it by wiping it down little at a time as I was slowly rolling it up. That worked in a way but it was a pain, any ideas?

    Thanks.

I use the hose and push the dirt into the skimmer with it.
