I'm about to install a 8000 gal. semi-inground pool. I have a Hayward 150k NG heater (cupro-nickel). I would like to know if the following are good choices in combination with this heater: Pentair Dynamo 1 hp 2 speed pump, Pentair 40D Tagelus 19.5" Filter, and a CompuPool CPSC16 SWG.

That sounds like a good combination. You might want to consider a slightly larger filter. A larger filter is hardly essential, but will allow you to go longer between backwashing. Perhaps the 60D.
