I've confirmed that your image in that other thread doesn't show up on at least 4 different networks, as well as different browsers.

It has to do with where the image was originally posted. The Snakeoil image was originally posted in a regular post, but the Yoda image was originally posted in a hidden area. Only people with access to the hidden area can see the image.
