Is "new more concentrated" bleach still ok to use?

Just opened and thick algae! Bought bleach but only had this new concentrated form...doesn't smell very strong but just want to confirm its still good to use? I know I read the splashless version is no good since it is more like gel.

Yes, the higher concentration is fine.

Another benefit of the 8.25% packaging is that it is less bulky than the former 6% so it's a bit easier to carry and store.

I have been using the new concentrated 8.25% for 2 weeks now with no issues at all.

Walmarts around here have finally lowered the 10% they carry in the pool section to where it is actually a little cheaper per ounce of NaClO than even the concentrated bleach.

Wal-Mart around here does not seem to carry CL in their pool section - nor do they carry DE. They used to have DE in a 10 lb box. I had to buy a 20lb bag from the local pool store.

But the 8.25% bleach at Wal Mart was a decent price.
