The pump seems to be functioning fine but has become much louder this season. It is in its eight season. Are there repairs I can make or is this unit near death? THANKS!

(Halcyon) Have you tried taking the pump apart to see the condition of the impeller and if there is any play noticed in that front supporting bearing ??
