I went to order test kit(thought I did already..long story). Is there a difference between the Taylor K-2005 and the Taylor K-2006?

Yes.
K-2005 doesn't have the FAS-DPD chlorine test, which enables you to test Chlorine up to 50 with precision to .2 ppm. That's why it's cheaper.

We strongly recommend getting a test kit that includes the FAS-DPD chlorine test. Of those two the K-2006 has it, and the K-2005 does not.

This calls for a celebration! I looked back in your post history and you've been fighting this pool for three years.
It's been awful! Every time I get it under control something breaks! And this year I just can't get clear water! I've used 46 121 ounces of bleach in 11 days apparently that's not enough!!

Well when you get your real test kit you will know what's wrong

I'm not one of them and they helped me with my green pool
all I bought was the tf100 test kit and about 20 gallons of bleach
the pool went from green to clean in about 2 weeks and it's been smooth swimming ever since

I can't wait! I can usually get it clear but just can't seem to manage it this year. Super frustrating. Hope there's not a bigger issue.
