Stainless steel brush on tile

I've been starting to use a stainless steel brush on my pool to get rid of some calcium build up. Is this type brush ok on the tile and grout or should I try to avoid contacting those areas with it?

If it's a pool brush, it should be fine. Stiffer, thicker wire brushes can chew things up pretty good. Ask me how I know.

If you have a white ring around the tile at the water line, a pumice stone and elbow grease will get rid of it. Follow it up with Motrin and/or alcohol.
