What the pool maintenance company won't tell you

Saw this article today. In case anyone needed inspiration on why we take care of our own:

Being written by a pool maintenance company owner, it's no surprise he left off item 6

    6. Taking care of your own pool maintenance is not nearly so hard as the guy trying to sell you a maintenance contract makes it out to be. Just head over to the Pool School at Trouble Free Pool and you'll soon understand and be in control of what's going on in your backyard paradise.

Every year, I hear how people say, Pool Care takes so much time. It's expensive. Why would you want a pool...

I don't feel these arguments at all when it comes to owning a pool. #6 was definately skipped.
I'd bet you my bikini you'll never get TFP water from a pool store!
