What pressure should I expect

Just turned on pump, there is gauge on the cartridge filter, it doesn't work, I have one on order, what pressure should I expect in a typical system?

There really is not a typical pressure other than 0-30 PSI.

Every combination of pool, pump, filter, and piping can all affect what pressure you will see as your "clean" and "dirty" pressures. About the only rule you can count on is that this site recommends that you clean your filter when the pressure is 25% greater than your "clean" pressure.
